The Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held at the Langstone Hotel, Hayling Island, on Thursday 1st March. In line with recent years we are offering members the opportunity to have a two course lunch prior to the meeting for £8 per head excluding drinks. If you would like to take advantage of this offer you will need to complete and send in a booking form in the usual manner. Lunch will be served at 12:30pm.
Following lunch at 2:00pm there will be a speaker from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
After a break for tea and biscuits the AGM itself will commence at 3:30pm with the Chairman’s Report, The Treasurer’s Report, acceptance of the accounts, election of committee, etc., etc.
If anybody would like to raise a question at the AGM it would be appreciated if they would let the Secretary know 14 days beforehand either by telephone or e-mail.
Finally a reminder: as we need to know the numbers for lunch you will have to complete the Booking form for the AGM lunch. You only need to complete this if you want to take lunch, and then return it in the same way as for other events.
If you just want to come to listen to the speaker and / or attend the AGM you only need to turn up at either 2 or 3pm as appropriate.
